Wondering what’s in season? Below you’ll find some of our typical harvests by month.
AUGUST
- Homegrown celery! Amazing!
- One day’s worth of tomatoes
JULY
Yes, that cauliflower is bigger than Matt’s head, which is impressive for several reasons!
Every year on July 15th we harvest our garlic. The top floor of the barn makes the perfect drying station for Organic Chesnok Red and Music.
- Berry patch (blueberries and summer raspberries) at the start of July
MAY
May brings our first crop–asparagus. We’ll eat it for 8 weeks before letting the plants fern out to replenish the crown.
APRIL
As April starts, we’ve got tomatoes, peppers, kale, eggplant, and chard growing strong. A few more weeks and they’ll move from their cozy grow stations to some time outdoors every day to harden and prepare them for Memorial Day planting!
